Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the PlateScout development service. Last updated 22 September 2026.

Independent information service

PlateScout organizes registration-number availability information for discovery and comparison. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by JPJ or mySIKAP, and it cannot complete an official reservation or registration transaction for you.

Accuracy and availability

Availability can change after collection. PlateScout does not guarantee that a number shown as available can still be obtained, that every series is present, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Confirm all decisions on the appropriate official channel.

Accounts

You are responsible for your PlateScout account and for keeping its credentials secure. Do not share access, automate abusive requests, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another user's data.

Purchases

Purchases unlock the scope and duration shown during checkout. Payment processing is provided by Stripe. Any refund rights shown during checkout or required by applicable law remain unaffected.

Acceptable use

You may use the service for lawful plate discovery. You may not misrepresent PlateScout as an official government service, resell access without written permission, scrape the application, bypass access controls, or use the service to harm another person.

Changes

These development terms may be updated as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a revised date on this page.
